We have recognized that a growing number of patients in the Erie area are suffering from serious medical conditions that are not alleviated properly by conventional medical treatments. Because of this, we are excited to help these eligible patients access the amazing potential benefits that Medical Cannabis can provide for them.
In order to be eligible for Medical Cannabis use in PA, individuals must be residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be certified as having one of 17 Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act
designated “serious health conditions”.
Under Act 16 of 2016 (the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act or the Act), the term “medical marijuana” refers to marijuana obtained for a certified medical use by a Pennsylvania resident with a serious medical condition and is limited by statute in Pennsylvania to the following forms:

The initial certification visit at CannabiCare is $200. Additional follow up visits are $100 each and are necessary to monitor your response to treatment.
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover certification or medical cannabis fills at dispensaries.
